Orbit with a Price Tag

February 14, 2018

                        Junked space:
spectacle marketing.

                        Spectacular eyes roll over heaven;
engineered oracle recites adware
          to the mountaintop.

                        Can you see the future
through miles of six-pack plastic?
          In time, all aluminum

                        feels the warmth of the sun.
Geodesic, PR firm heart
          free-bases the atmosphere.

                        Tonight
– while supplies last –
          do you feel closer

                        or further from home?
Do you feel
          kinship to the stars;

                        mimic floating by
selling you your own
          square-meter of cosmos?
